Wartower.de forum says Azure Remains in Dreadnought's Drift. That's a relatively easy farm right outside Camp Rankor if I remember correctly. 85.19.140.9 16:50, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
- 2 azure remains per gift, to be exact. just next to the statue of Dwayna like last time 77.213.235.141 16:53, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

According to Guru and myself, Yakkington is currently craving Mandragor Root Cakes in Arkjok Ward. Kanda 16:05, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- Confirmed. Same spot, same dialogue, same request(and seemingly amount as well). Gaudy Gourd God 16:14, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- I would love to add it to the page but it looks like I'm prohibited Gaudy Gourd God 16:45, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- For anyone that doesn't know, that is just north of Modti Darkflower's spawn (close enough to accidentally aggro). --Falseprophet 17:36, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
That sucks since they already did the Mandragor Root Cakes may 11 09 they are duplicating now. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.109.163.185 (talk) at 17:14, 16 January 2012 (UTC).

Saoshang Trail, asking for 5 Mantid Pincers per gift. half way down trail User:Joyce--Joyce 15:43, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
- Saoshang Trail , asking for Mantid Pincers. I can't believe i found him in the first place I checked.
- Confirmed. He's not at his previous position though, but further up the trail. Couldn't check his dialogue since I was almost dead when I reached him. Tub 17:36, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
- Dialogue seems to be identical to last time he visited the place. I wonder why they changed his position. Maybe he was misplaced the last time, seeing as he is standing outside a house this time, which could belong to his "playwright friend" Gaudy Gourd God 18:19, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

- i saw the discussion about the old maps and new maps for the same location and really in a small area its not much of an issue... but some areas are rather large. So in some cases when he moves a little its not bad but if its a large one rather than the "oh no what quest messed it up" which i did too its probably good for a new one... glad i maybe helped a little and really i am wiki noob so me and page edits are probably not a good combo :D Durp da durp 08:58, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

- Past 2 weeks have been easy farms... i'm gonna laugh if he ends up in Old Ascalon looking for lodestones when he switches. Really this week was fun. Wartower.de says Twin Serpents Lake, asking 1 Herring per gift. 85.19.140.9 16:39, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) Wartower.de claims he's after herring again. 5 Bog Skale Fin → 1 Herring (@Gruhn). There are several farms, Tears of the Fallen being my favorite (short run, nearly all foes eligible to drop fins, no pesky PKs, and two convenient spots to rezone). – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:46, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- Visited the site, and indeed Nick has returned there, wanting more tasty herrings. Same amount (1 per gift), same dialogue and exact same spot. Gaudy Gourd God 16:53, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Is it easier to get to him from Riverside or from Fisherman's? Seems to be more activity at the latter. 76.253.0.17 04:41, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

I found him in Zen Daijun collecting 5 Rolls of Parchment, the rare crafting material. He's in the pavilion SE of the entrance from Setung Harbor. Speak with Gaurd Lae Fao to enter Zen Daijun. In the Harbor Shinichiro will craft rolls of parchment for 20 gold and 5 wood planks per roll of parchment. -Taigafaeri

- As a reader (when I use wiki for myself searching, not as a contributor), most of the times I need a visual guidance, I directly click on the map skipping all the text, as its more than enough to graphically tell me the length of route, the passing areas and for orientation...but when there are no references... I have to click "back" to read...which sucks for fast users that check maps as I do. Technically speaking, Im not against World Maps...since even myself load such files. Is the dialogue on the page from Nicholas's last visit? If so, it needs to be updated since it was apparently proofread this time. :P
Specifically, "amongst" is spelled correctly, and in the second sentence, the section "are always of a great value" is now "are always of great value" without the "a" there. [Here's a pic for you.]
I'd edit it myself, but I'm not quite sure how to go about doing so. And to be honest, I'm actually very afraid of what might happen if I were to try fiddling around with the coding and such. xD; --Leviticus Lo 18:01, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

- I remember the last time I farmed this for Nick. It was a nightmare.....but I still did it anyway lol. -Wrei110.175.241.56 07:30, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

- The amount of time and effort to farm these, would be more profitably employed in Underworld farming Ectos; or in Fissure of Woe hunting Obsidian Shards. — Mar Master 17:15, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

- indeed, in lagoon 1-3 possible droppers without quest, and I took a friend along that had the quest who stayed at portal to zone quicker, I think I counted 12 possible droppers with quest and got enough coins for both of us in 3 runs and had some spares to sell. - If the community that tracks Nick down each week moves on to GW2, then when Nick moves, will he really "appear" if nobody sees him? It would be a sad end for GW's most beloved character. Allow me to express my sincere appreciation to all the Nick devotees who have worked hard all these years bringing the rest of us news of Nick. Mayhem.maelstrom 17:00, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Then it's up to the rest of us to track him down instead. Luckily it seems that the locations are the same as previous rotation so we'll just have to check already known locations - shouldn't be impossible. I also want to chime in on the thanks to all the devoted people who has kept running all over the game every week to find Nick. Thanks guys!194.68.56.43 09:20, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

- It seems that many of us are busy with GW2 and/or it's wiki... I have tried updating this, but it was reverted (possibly I hadn't used the desired layout...) If there is a template that we are to use, it would be prudent to put some sort of "sticky note" here on the talk page so that those of us still interested in GW can maintain the page properly without excessive digging? I would rather play than learn HTML and search through history and format :) Gwynna Vive 03:53, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Thanks!! Just wanted to add my appreciation to the notes above, great to see the Nic Hunt continues. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.255.123.188 (talk).
- @Gwynna: I'm the one who reverted. This page is updated based on another page which, if my knowledge is right, is only editable by admins. It helps reduce the edit history of this page and keeps the format the same (and yes, you did alter the format - I would have merely fixed what was incorrect, adding removed information, but again, non-usual editing procedures here). Konig/talk 18:26, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
- @Konig: I understand, and meant no ill will. I simply guessed that I'd made an error which you had corrected (and thank you!). Wiki doesn't come with instructions, and as many of us move on to GW2, those of us who choose to remain will have to pitch in a bit more if the wiki is to remain as useful as it has been...I don't mind stepping up, but I would rather avoid having to learn all the technical stuff or committing much of my treasured "playtime" toward editing/updating. A link on the appropriate talk pages to the correct template would go a long way towards keeping the wiki current. Gwynna Vive 02:40, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- There is a hidden note ("Please do not update this section, set the data on the research subpage instead!") there which you missed when you edited the page. --Silver Edge 03:32, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- For the record, the research page that updates this is not admin-only. It's locked to anons and new-registered users, but all other editors are free to update it. Which I see Gwynna has long-since found, but for anyone who might not know. - Tanetris 16:55, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

Nick in GW2
Saw his and Yakkington's graves in gw2. Very sad. (Edited this comment (MY comment) from before, since I didn't notice that this trivia had been added already). 69.249.211.251 19:52, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- Likewise. Saw Gwen's tombstone and that was a sad moment. (Perhaps most memorable moment in entire game of GW1: "My name ... is Gwen.") But then read the inscriptions for Nick and the big guy. Whoa, get out the hankie. I dunno, Nick always seemed eternal, able to survive in any environment. It does appear that he has been buried in whatever passes for Regent Valley nowadays, near where he would leave red irises for his beloved Mary. A nice touch. Thank you, Anet.
