My Story
Johnathan Claude van Dyk, or more well known as Johny Sabertooth's story is much like Gwens. He was born to John and Lilith van Dyk in Pre-Searing Ascalon. The family was of good standing and moderately wealthy. Johny always dreamed of being the hero who saves the day, and because of this, was always ambitious and headstrong. He was a natural leader, starting little riots and revolts over things that he believed unjust. He was always very close to his father also. He was of age 15 when The Searing hit. He survived, but only just. His will to find his mother and father overpowered his will to die, and eventually found his father captive at one of the charr encampments. His rage was so great that he was able to do what no other student, nor 15 year old with no skill has ever done. He ran into the encampment, Defied Pain, and killed all the charr in the encampment with 3 swift strikes using an old Rinblade found on the ground. He untied his father, cared for his wounds, and started searching for his mother. He searched all through Ascalon for her. He never found her, he almost went to a rage to kill all charr in Ascalon. But he felt burdened by his father's worsening condition. From there, he literally dragged himself and his father across the Shiverpeaks to Lions Arch for medical attention. He got there, but it was too late for his father, his father died from a bad infection. He seeked solitude at an abandoned lighthouse next to Lion's Arch. After about 3 months of solitude in the lighthouse. He came out and set sail to Cantha to Study at the Shing Jea Monastery. There he studied the art of Bushido, he became a master swordsman, able to do almost every move with laser-like precision. People even say that he is equal to One Hundred Blades in Swordsmanship. His personality is what he considers as a fallen hero. One that had the skill, the charisma, and the leading ability to become the epic hero. But was then corrupted in the inside by the Searing. He is now more laid back, and never steps up to lead. He sits back, relaxes, and enjoys the show. STATUS: No one truly knows what he is doing, although some reports have said that he is dealing Expensive Items in the asura underground.
