Critical Agility

Critical Agility is a Sunspear rank skill. It is only available after you reach Rank 1 in the title track. If you already fulfilled that prerequisite, then you have a bug on your hands. Vili 09:30, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Dungeon doors

I've been trying to gain access to Vloxen Excavations but there is a closed door in the SW corner. I don't see any gearboxes or anything else that might open it. I've vanquished the accessible areas, that doesn't work. Wiki doesn't mention it. Can anyone help me out?

You likely need to have the correct dungeon quest to get past that door. On the page for the dungeon it states you need Dredging the Depths quest. --JonTheMon 16:48, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Resurrection issues

Are you running a 55 build? If you get resurrected with 1 maximum health and the resurrection skill would restore 50% health or less, your health will be rounded down to 0, resulting in death. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 03:01, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Normally you can still come back at the shrine, you'll just have 1hp left. But if Jin has, say, a Vampiric Bow... then yes, she'll kill herself no matter what, every time she resurrects. Normally the only way to fix that is to switch weapons as soon as she resurrects (since you can't switch 'em while dead), so that she can come back again. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 20:19, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

According to the 55 page, you cannot resurrect such character unless you use a skill that will recover over 50% life.

Getting resurrected with 0 HP means the character will die right after brought to life (usually without enough time to swap weapon/change armor). --NIN37 23:59, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Guild Hall members

Why can't my Guild Hall members bring in certain characters that they have created? Several have tried and they are unable to come to the Hall.

Venta cemetary bonus

When attempting the Venta cemetary bonus, the flags aren't turning red... is there a bug? how am I supposed to get the bonus when they don't turn red?--72.91.242.176 18:51, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

This is a bit of a bug. If you didn't capture the guard post before the siege attack started, the flag will not change colour. As long as you kill all the guards it still counts for the bonus though. Check your mission log, it should say how many you have neutralised. Biscuits 19:25, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

hero runes

Unlocks from the Priest of Balthazar can only be used for PvP. You can find the rune at the Equipment panel screen on your PvP charr by pressing the PvP equipment button in your Inventory ~ Kurd 20:51, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

One alternative available to account holders of Nightfall as well as Prophecies is to visit the Forgotten Guardian in the Crystal Overlook. This NPC can transport a party to the Arid Sea in the Crystal Desert. Be warned though. It's quite a hike. -- WarBlade 03:57, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

First, it's not illegal, ArenaNet and NCSoft have no legislative authority, it's merely a violatiaon of the terms of service. Wandering Traveler has already provided a brief explanation of why. See Real-Money Trading Policy page on the main website for an in-depth explanation of ArenaNet's rationale. Even if ArenaNet was okay with it, I'm pretty sure NCSoft wouldn't be. Level

I have a lvl 14 ranger/monk and am no longer recieving XP for anything that I kill. Doesn't matter if I am alone or with a party the result is the same. Zero XP. I am out of quests and am stuck at Borlis Pass in the main story line. I only need 1,055 xp to get to lvl 15 and can't get them. Any suggestions???? --67.177.210.221 15:41, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

What level are the monsters you are facing? If you face monsters that are a certain lower level then you, you will not receive any xp for killing them. Wandering Traveler 15:46, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Your foes have to be within 5 levels of you for you to gain xp. The only thing to do is get farther in the game to find higher level foes. -- Wyn 15:55, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Access Keys

Can anyone help me? I bought a in-store guildwar game for my son awhile ago, but he lost the access key. I still have the dics, can install the game but can't play since I don't have the access key. Does anyone know of a way that I can get the access code that goes with my game back?

Guild Leaving

I'm having issues in my account, leaving a guild. I followed the directions left in the Wiki and it still didn't work. I clicked on the icon next to my character's name in the guild menu and it states "Leave my Guild," however, when I click on it, it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Thats odd indeed. That is the way to leave your guild. Were you experiencing some lag when clicking on the tag? sometimes a delayed response from the server could be the problem. Wandering Traveler 18:13, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

why do our guild factions points seem to disappear even when I don't spend them on anything?

I log off and no one logs on in between and the next day when I come back on line, I find that about 30,000 points have just disappeared. Why is that?

Graphics Driver error?

You could also try reinstalling your graphics driver. Did it only happen once or does it always happen there? If it always happens there it's definitely a problem relating to the graphics it was trying to display and you have a compatibility problem. Have they considered marketing the bonus weapons fro the EOTN pre-order as a purchasable upgrade? I know I might consider actually going for the Legendary Defender of Ascalon title if I knew I could get a decent weapon like the Glacial Blade in Pre-Searing. (I know about the Rhino's Charge... but it sux)

The Time is Nigh troubles

I'm kind of at my wits end here. My friend is a level 17 Sunspear captain who can't seem to get the quest to go to Consulate Docks. He's completed every quest that Puuba gives out besides that one and it's not offered. I'm wondering if anyone has seen this problem before and if so how they managed to fix it. Is Command Training a pre-requisite for The Time is Nigh? The quest's article says the only pre-requisites are the three War Preparations quests for Nightfall characters or A Land of Heroes for foreign characters. List of Nightfall missions.

• For Elonian (Nightfall) characters: beat 3 missions (Chahbek Village, Jokanur Diggings and Blacktide Den), then take quest chain (starting with The Iron Truth).
• For non-Elonian (Prophecies or Factions) characters: campaign travel quest (Sunspears in Kryta or Sunspears in Cantha), then take quest chain (starting with Battle Preparations).

He's done every quest that Puuba offers including the war prep ones. Yet Puuba still doesn't give him The Time is Nigh for some reason. Kormir is not waiting for him in the fields, and we have gone through numerous other Secondary quests in an attempt to get it. The (presumably) easiest way to beat Cyndr is to bring a group of Touch Rangers. He'll go down in a matter of seconds. Also, Protective Spirit is a good idea. See Cyndr#Strategy for more information. — Why 00:52, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

I had success just bringing one monk with Protective Spirit and heals and Livia with a bunch of life stealing skills. Those two should be able to solo Cyndr, as the lifesteal goes through his carapace. If it's a hero monk, you may need to micro to make sure prot spirit stays up on both heroes. ¬ Wizårdbõÿ777(talk) 02:34, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

You could do it the real way, by using kegs to blow up the carapace, but that would be making it unnecessarily hard for you. I like to use Moebius Strike and Vampiric Assault to change things up once in a while. Vili 04:16, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

I usually beat this boss by using 1 or 2 Hero Necromancers with lots of health-stealing skills (Blood Magic).

Life-stealing skills will ignore Cyndr's carapace and should make this battle somehow easier (try to have Cyndr spawn next to Blackpowder so you can flag your heroes behind the wall where they could use non-projectile life-steal skills while being protected against that heavy damage AoE blast). --NIN37 07:26, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Do you mean you can't get the quest or that the quest won't let you proceed. If the latter you could try abandoning the quest in an outpost and then going and getting it again which might fix the problem. To start the mission, you need to accept quest's reward (form same NPC who will start the mission).

Have you checked List of Nightfall missions to see if it can help you? Primary quests are listed between mission, so if you've just beaten a mission, make sure you've take the quest(s) that follows it. --NIN37 07:31, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Game locking up in Ironhorse

Not a game issue; a problem with your graphic card. Would help to know which one you have, but the most general advice is to (re)install the latest drivers for it. Backsword 07:42, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

New Armor for End game Tryia!

I would like to know if there will be end game armor added to Tryia campaign? I believe there would be a lot of others that would like to see this as well. to date this is the only campaign that has weapons now but no armor out of the 3 main campaigns. I think it would be a great addition to the game and would spark new interest for this area...

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't all three campaigns have end game weapons? Like you beat the game and you can get special weapons right? Or are you referring to something else? I would tend to say that even if it is in the works it would probably be done for GW2 as I can't see them doing too many major overhauls to the game before that comes out. Divine Aura

Yes, you can upgrade a standard Prophecies account with a Collector's Edition access key.

But, other than the Divine Aura, you won't get much useful in-game stuff (you won't get extra character slots, you won't get new continent to explore, you won't get new skills to unlock, etc). --NIN37 02:00, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Where are you exactly when you're attempting to add your friend to your party? Do you have anyone else in your own party? Is it giving you any sort of error message when you try to add him?
