Stone Summit Gnashers are the minion masters of the Stone Summit. If left unchecked, they are capable of raising a large minion army that will pose a significant threat to the party. In Guild Wars Eye of the North, their updated skill bar makes them even more effective minion masters.

The best way to deal with them is to take them down as early as possible. Alternatives would be to prevent them from exploiting corpses or to bring skills that are devastating to minions or summoned creatures (such as Avatar of Balthazar, Verata's Aura, and Holy Spear, to name a few). Also, abusing their use of Plague Touch can draw them into the middle of your group, effectively separating them from their group, making it easy to take them out first.

Notes

• It is highly recommended to bring anti-summon skills, or minion countering skills if parties know they will be facing several of these foes.
• If not careful Gnashers will use corpses to quickly overpower even the strongest parties.
• Skills like Verata's Gaze, Verata's Aura, and Holy Spear are particularly useful against these enemies.
• On Hard mode, especially in the Eye of the North Campaign, these foes should be killed first when encountered in mobs.
