• Platinum Staves found in the Factions Campaign can be linked to most caster attributes. Exceptions are: Healing Prayers, Protection Prayers, Inspiration Magic, Fast Casting, Restoration Magic, Energy Storage and Soul Reaping
• Platinum Staves found in the Eye of the North Expansion, the Zaishen Chest, the Underworld Chest and in the Chest of Woe are tied to the Primary attribute of their respective caster profession, except for Mesmer which are tied to Inspiration Magic.

Dye

Dye affects the wrapping around the staff's handle and the three intricate metal sections near the staff's head. The default color can be closely replicated using yellow dye.
