The Cliffs of Dohjok is a forested ridge situated in southern Istan, between the swampy lowlands to the southwest and the flat plains to the east. A beautiful waterfall lies to the west. Istanis are currently carrying out quarrying work in the cliffs to the east of the waterfall.

Getting there[edit]

The Cliffs of Dohjok connects to quite a few other locations. The fastest way is to travel southwest from Sunspear Great Hall to Champion's Dawn, which also exits onto the eastern edge of the Cliffs of Dohjok.

Nightfall characters will be led through here as part of the quest Leaving a Legacy. Non-Nightfall characters will come here as part of the A Land of Heroes quest.

  • If you wish to level up early and quickly, the primary quest Leaving a Legacy (the one where you get Dunkoro) will allow you to clear this area quickly and safely, since you get the help of Dunkoro and a group of Diggers as allies. The bonus from bounties will give quite a bit of experience. To get even more, flag any hero and henchmen far away and just clear the area with Dunkoro and the Diggers, so that you will get the full amount of experience per kill.
  • There are several quests here which involve friendly NPCs who follow you around and body block for you during combat - Dalz Jelon, Mofuun, Dajwa. Since it's possible to have more than one of these NPCs active at one time, this effect can help someone going for the Survivor title.
  • There is no bounty on the corsairs in this area.
  • Complete exploration of this area contributes approximately 2.5% to the Elonian Cartographer title track.
  • Vanquisher runs of this area without active quests require defeating around 121 foes. Including quest influences, it has been reported to range from 113 to 201 foes.
    • Leaving a Legacy produces the lowest amount of creatures as no corsairs spawn on the beach.
    • Consider starting from Beknur Harbor or Blacktide Den for a party size of 8 instead of 4.
    • A few Skale groups to the east of the quarry area have large patrol routes and may easily be missed.
    • The quest Skree Hatchling Season in particular will produce a lot more foes.
