“One of the oldest standing structures on the Istani Isles, the Sunspear Great Hall dates back to the time of Sogolon the Protector, who turned the Sunspears into an independent order devoted to the protection of all Elona. The twin, magical fountains are a tribute to the Sunspears' primeval roots, while the Great Hall stands as a memorial to the many generations of heroes forged within its walls.
— in-game description
The Sunspear Great Hall is the headquarters of the Order of the Sunspears.
Getting there[edit]
The Sunspear Great Hall sits in the center of the Plains of Jarin, to the northwest of Kamadan, Jewel of Istan.
Several quests that are offered in Kamadan (but only for Nightfall characters) will lead characters to this location, such as Armored Transport and Quality Steel. For characters of other campaigns, the Battle Preparations quest (the follow-up quest to Sunspears in Kryta and Sunspears in Cantha) will lead characters to this location.

Notes[edit]
The Guild Wars 2 Wiki has an article on Mordant Crescent Great Hall. |
- When completing the Blacktide Den mission and returning here, it is possible to have a party larger than 4 (making it easier to vanquish the Plains of Jarin), under the following conditions:
- All players in the party.
- Up to three heroes per player.
- Up to four henchmen, specifically Gehraz, Herta, Kihm, and Sogolon.
- Complete exploration of this outpost contributes approximately 0.2% to the Elonian Cartographer title.
