The Gyala Hatchery explorable area is the stretch of Jade Sea that lies between the capital, Cavalon, and the Luxons' turtle hatchery. It is a somewhat dangerous stretch of land that is littered with Naga and Yeti to the north, while the south is dominated by Fishes, Leviathans, and Luxon Outcasts.
Getting there[edit]
Exit north from Leviathan Pits. Although Gyala Hatchery shares its border with the outpost of the same name, it cannot be reached from there.

Notes[edit]
- On the western edge (near the area with washed out color on the map) is a huge Irukandji encased in a block of jade, in the center of a Flooded Jade Mine.
- Complete exploration of this area will yield about 2.8% to the Canthan Cartographer title track.
- Exploration is best done during the mission as, if you avoid triggering the turtles, you can explore most of the area without having to fight anyone.
- Vanquisher runs of this area without active quests require defeating around 195 foes. Including quest influences, it has been reported to range from 183 to 209 foes.
- The Outcasts, Fish and Leviathans are hostile to each other. If you let them fight it out, it can reduce enemy numbers by 30-40. Jacqui The Reaver and Reefclaw Ragebound also fight, and one of them will eventually kill the other. If Jacqui survives the fight, he might start fighting Whyk Steelshell's group next and get killed by them.
- There are four spots where hidden Oni will popup:
- Two at the large island in the southwestern corner.
- On the large eastern island, Bahnba Shockfoot and his Yetis are on a narrow path. Three Oni are on the other parallel path.
- Two more on a spot just north of the previous spot, close to the path of the Naga patrols.
- Two in the northeastern corner.
- No foes have hex removal and all are fleshy, so hex spells and minion masters work well here.
Bug.The northern portal to the Gyala Hatchery's outpost is missing the white hazy barrier usually associated with Factions and Prophecies area transitions.
