For me, I just want to help others and make the world a better place to live. That's something worth being remembered for." Michael Swiftspear grew up in Chahbek Village and loved it from birth. He was well-known and respected in the community; as a teenager, he cleaned the village and helped its citizens completely out of goodwill. Everything started to change when the corsairs began their assault on Chahbek, though. The Sunspears were gathering more and more frequently near the tiny town; Michael often saw them training in Churrhir Fields. At the age of sixteen, he decided to join their ranks in an attempt to save his precious village, which was also the center of his world. Alongside Kormir and other prominent Sunspears, the corsairs were pushed back and eventually retreated. The victory came at a price, though: most of Chahbek Village was in flames or ruins. When Michael Swiftspear, now seventeen years of age, saw the destruction of the village he so dearly cherished, he couldn't help but to burst into tears. He knew that even though Chahbek was not completely lost, it would never be the same as the place he used to call home. Cutting his losses, Michael continued to travel throughout Elona with the Sunspears in order to thwart Nightfall and return the world to its former state of peace. Although things are currently in a state of chaos, Michael Swiftspear secretly longs to return to Chahbek Village one day to roam its wreckage, casually picking up debris as he recalls memories of a warm and tranquil past.
