PvP rewards are weapons, armor and items purchased from the NPC Tolkano in exchange for tournament reward points and Zaishen Coins. PvP reward items display as red "rarity" when hovered over.

Acquisition[edit]

PvP reward items are acquired through Tolkano. After selecting the Purchase Rewards dialogue, a player then chooses which item to exchange. The new item (whether armor or weapon) will replace the current item, after confirmation, and have identical stats.

Note that the item is not "unlocked" on the account. Each time you wish to upgrade a new PvP weapon, you will need to purchase it from Tolkano again. Items that are upgraded however, can be modified an unlimited number of times.

The new item will retain the same attribute or bow class as the previous weapon, regardless of the attributes or bow class of the PvE versions, as long as the weapon's type remains the same. For example:

Customization[edit]

The warning message preventing overwriting a PvP reward item

Customization of PvP reward weapons and armor occurs in the PvP Equipment panel. The panel allows the players to change the upgrade components on the weapon, the runes and insignia on the armor and control the dye color of the items. The PvP Equipment panel will not allow the Equip Immediately to be checked when a PvP reward item is selected, instead stating "The selected item must be equipped immediately". A PvP reward item cannot be overwritten by creating a new weapon, instead a warning message will appear telling players to remove the weapon.

Notes[edit]

  • The October 22, 2009, update saw the addition of Eye of the North and Bonus Mission Pack weapons and armor. The update also saw the reduction of the cost of PvP reward armor and rewards using tournament reward points, and also the introduction of Zaishen Coins used as a form of acceptable currency.
  • Bonus Mission Pack weapons may only be bought if the Bonus Mission Pack is linked to the account.
  • Rewards cannot be shared between characters via storage due to being customized upon creation, but weapons may be shared by giving them to PvP heroes; their customization will update upon logging on with a different PvP character.
Bug Bug.Some accounts are able to access weapons from higher tiers without completing the 50-unlocks prerequisites.
