Added Content[edit]

To be fair, I have contributed in the past to other fan sites, and I hope that my contributions to this site will not diminish the efforts I have made elsewhere.LeFick 01:59, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Since it doesn't matter anywhere else - For the record I opose the use of the word Trophy when refering to collectable drops or loot. Not all drops are trophies, not all trophies are salvagable, and so on, so the word at best is just confusing. LeFick

Welcome[edit]

Hello, Lefick, and welcome to the Official Guild Wars Wiki! If you need help with anything, don't hesitate to add a message to my talk page. I highly recommend that you check out the "Welcome to the wiki" page - it's extremely useful as an initial guide. Best of luck and happy editing!--§ Eloc § 23:28, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Game mechanics[edit]

Well, stuff like max armor that can stack, max HP regen, max Energy regen, stuff like that.--§ Eloc § 03:30, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

MyGWW editing station[edit]

Just felt like bragging a bit.

User lefick edit station.jpg

Omg, what a pimping station. Too bad GW can't be maximized for that.--§ Eloc § 02:27, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Wow. Very nice. Do you ever go outside, by any chance? Calor - talk 02:35, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
No need -- there is enough ultraviolet rays pumping out of that setup that sunlight is optional. ^^ - Thulsey Zheng - talk 02:48, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Wintersday and CC weapons[edit]

I think it would be better to move the comments on the CC weapons to their own page, either a new one discussing them as a group, or to be added on the the Category:Candy Cane Weapons page. To me, this would keep the Wintersday page(s) more on the topic of the event/holiday and keep the article to a smaller length, as adding a complete list of the Wintersday changes/effects on the game can stretch it out quite aways.
I really like your treatment of the Wintersday 2006 page though. Yukiko User Yukiko Sig.png 04:25, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

What I found was 2 different pages that listed the candy cane weapons. What I wanted to do eventually, was list the items, the foods, the hats, and the weapons, in a horizontal table format, like the kit page. I recently made a firework page using the same format. but if you want the weapons on a sub page, I'll agree with that. On the other hand, how would you like to handel the NPCs that were available in each of the diferent towns? LeFick 11:20, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Template:X by continent[edit]

What are Template:Outposts by continent and Template:Towns by continent for? Do you have any additional usage except their original articles? poke | talk 00:04, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

The Explorable area article had the areas in nice organized tables. The Town article had the towns listed, but not in a table. The Outpost Article had nothing except "see the category". Both the Town and Outpost articles seemed very incomplete by comparison to the explorable area article. So, yes, they are mostly just for navigation, and organization beyond what the Category lists, and I also very much like to see information presented in a uniform way - as much as possible. Do you object to the tables? LeFick 00:12, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
I don't think the tables was the question, more the need to put them on separate template pages. Are they used/going to be used in many articles, so they need to be separate? - anja talk 00:32, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
I have no plans for them beyond the two articles. However, when I looked at the Explorable area page, the tables there were transcluded from a template, so I did the same on the other two pages. I thought that was to keep the original article page, easier to edit, as the table data for the Outpost table is quite long. LeFick 00:35, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
I just looked at the tables again from the Explorable areas page, and they are only linked from one place as well. So far, I'm just following an established convention.... (I think) LeFick 00:37, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Pre-Searing Quest XP Summary Project[edit]

Just a comment here... Even if you disregard the primary-secondary class restrictions and add up ALL the quests here, you'd barely have enough to go from lvl 19 to lvl 20, not enough to go from 18 to 20... and WAY too little to go from 16 to 20. You could go from 16 to 17, but not even 18. I think you can save yourself the effort of actually trying here, it's safe to say that you can't LDoA and Survivor on the same character. Alaris 22:31, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
I am starting to think that the user who claimed questing as viable just went and included every prophecies quest available... Still not sure how he thought you could get the 40k+ exp from these quests XD.--Fighterdoken 22:39, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Now, I copied this list from another wiki page. Can anyone confirm this is All the pre-Searing quests? Could there be some missing? Anyway, as a 19th level permapre I think it would be fun to do it again. It would give me a chance to check each quest on the WIKI and update the terms of the restriction that I listed above. I'm doubtfull on several.LeFick 23:28, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Changing image links[edit]

See example - BeX iawtc 04:11, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, but I did know how to do that part of the edit. The problem was that image is still linked by 6 or 7 other pages, and I will have to change them manually before I am finished with that image move. If you look around, I have changed all the ascalon Farmer/Townfolk and Peasant to Ascalonian F/T/Ps. I have also moved all the referencing links, renamed all this images except this one render and marked all old pages for deletion. But now its late here and I have to stop for now. However, since the edit was rather involved, I was leaving a note on what I have to finish, and that I will be back to finish it later. See the very bottom of my user page....
