This is a list of all the missions and primary quests in Guild Wars Nightfall, taking you through the storyline, as well as the challenge missions. Characters from non-Nightfall campaigns who travel to Elona will join the storyline at Kamadan, Jewel of Istan with the quest Battle Preparations.
Storyline missions[edit]
Istan[edit]

- Primary Training → Honing your Skills → Secondary Training → Choose Your Secondary Profession → Leaving a Legacy → The Honorable General → Signs and Portents
- 2. Jokanur Diggings (Required hero: Melonni)
- Isle of the Dead → Bad Tide Rising → Special Delivery → Big News, Small Package → Following the Trail
- 3. Blacktide Den (Required hero: Tahlkora)
- The Iron Truth → Trial by Fire → War Preparations (Ghost Reconnaissance), War Preparations (Recruit Training) and War Preparations (Wind and Water) → The Time is Nigh
- Characters from other campaigns will begin here and follow this quest chain:
Kourna[edit]
- 4. Consulate Docks (Required hero: Dunkoro)
- Hunted! → The Great Escape → And a Hero Shall Lead Them
- 5. Venta Cemetery (Required hero: Koss)
- The Council is Called → To Vabbi! → Centaur Blackmail
- 6. Kodonur Crossroads (Required hero: Zhed Shadowhoof)
- Mysterious Message
- The storyline divides in two paths here, depending on whether you choose Margrid the Sly or Master of Whispers. These paths are mutually exclusive, so you can only get one of the heroes (at this time). If you wish to do the other mission (not quest), you can finish the campaign, or join a party that contains the other hero.

Vabbi[edit]
- Once again, the storyline divides in two possible paths, depending on which hero you chose in the previous fork, Margrid the Sly or Master of Whispers.

- Attack at the Kodash
- This is the third fork in the storyline, as the player is presented with two possible paths, depending on whether you choose to defend the village of Ronjok in Kourna or help the Vabbians with the Nightfallen Garden of Seborhin. Note that these are not mutually exclusive, both can be completed, but only one is needed to continue the storyline. Nundu Bay is considered easier.
