Note: Her name is a mix of two novels I love. Catherina from Catherina Gravina in Elisabet Nemert's Den vita liljan (in English The white lily, only available in Swedish) and Erath from Polgara of Erat in David Eddings' The Belgariad. Catanja, her pet, is something I made up to match the Italian touch from Catherina Gravina (although it actually sounds more Russian).
